Mostly Comedy started life upstairs at The George pub in Hitchin in Hertfordshire, in October 2008, where it stayed for two years.

The club then set up camp at The Croft in September 2010, where it remained until September 2012, when it moved to the Market Theatre Studio for three years, before moving to the Sun Hotel Ballroom in January 2016.

The club moved to Hitchin Town Hall in July 2019 as its popularity increased, where it stayed for three years, until the fallout of Covid-19 caused its brief closure in April 2022.

However, the club rose from the ashes in July 2023, when it relaunched at the Queen Mother Theatre, where it stayed until December 2024, when it returned to Hitchin Town Hall, which is its home once again.
